The China Coast Guard spokesperson Liu Dejun stated on Wednesday that with the permission of the Chinese side, the Philippines dispatched a civilian ship to deliver supplies to its illegally "grounded" military vessel at Ren'ai Jiao. The China Coast Guard (CCG) conducted inquiries to confirm and monitored the Philippine vessel throughout the entire process. 

China urges the Philippines to honor its commitments, stop sensationalizing the issue, and work with China to jointly manage the maritime situation, said Liu, adding that The CCG will continue to carry out law enforcement activities to safeguard its rights in the Nansha Qundao, including the Ren'ai Jiao and their adjacent waters.
